State LDH COVID Monday update for Avoyelles: 951 cases, 27 deaths, 13,131 tests

Although daily increase was lower than in the past few weeks, the number of Avoyelles Parish residents infected with COVID since the pandemic began in March rose by 12 to put the parish's total at 951. The state reports 27 COVID-related deaths in the parish. Parish officials have said their count shows 29 deaths since March.

There have been 13,131 tests for the virus administered in Avoyelles.
