Tuesday COVID update in Avoyelles: one reinfection

There were only 97 COVID tests reviewed for Avoyelles Parish in Tuesday's update from the state health department, but there were no first-time infections in the parish. There was only one reinfection and no additional COVID-related deaths.

As of Tuesday, the parish had diagnosed 11,558 cases of COVID involving 10,761 individuals. There were 797 reinfections. The almost two-year death toll remained at 201.
