Wednesday COVID update for Avoyelles: 3 new cases in 329 tests

Avoyelles continues to enjoy -- if enjoy is the right word -- a low rate of COVID infection at this time.
The mid-week COVID update from the state health department had four times the number of tests but only one more new case than Tuesday's report.
There were 329 tests reviewed with three new cases identified.
The 20-month pandemic totals in the parish on Wednesday were 7,364 cases and 181 deaths. The state totals were 766,391 cases with 14,724 fatalities.
