Wednesday COVID update for Avoyelles: five cases, no deaths

There were five new cases of COVID in Avoyellles Parish in the Wednesday update from the state health department. All were first-time infections. There were no additional deaths.

As of Wednesday the parish's 23-month pandemic totals were 11,533 total cases involving 10,738 individuals. There had been 793 reinfections and 200 deaths since March 2020.
