Weekend COVID report for Avoyelles: three cases, one death

The incidence of COVID in Avoyelles Parish remained low over the weekend with only three cases diagnosed out of 339 tests reviewed since Friday. Unfortunately, the parish's streak of updates without a death was broken with one additional fatality reported.

As of Monday, Avoyelles Parish had 11,557 total cases involving 10,761 individuals since March 2020. There had been 796 reinfections and 201 COVID-related deaths.
