St Mary School on precautionary lockdown, all students safe

UPDATE- St Mary School has announced the school is all clear and police has identified suspects.
A shooting has been reported in the graveyard near St. Mary’s church in Cottonport.
According to school officials, a shooting occurred this morning (Oct. 28) in the grave yard area and police pursued a suspect.
St. Mary’s Assumption School, located next to the church, is on precautionary lockdown. All students, faculty and staff are reported safe on the campus.
