π Bunkie Elem. Students Score Big at UL Women's Basketball Game! π
Fourth through sixth grade students at Bunkie Elementary Learning Academy were recently rewarded for excellent conduct and a semester with no office referrals by attending a University of Louisiana womenβs basketball game at the Cajundome in Lafayette.
The trip served as a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports incentive, recognizing students who consistently demonstrate strong decision making and positive school behavior.
Students enjoyed an afternoon of excitement in the stands as they cheered, supported the home team, and experienced the atmosphere of a collegiate sporting event.
Teachers shared that the outing was not only a celebration of good behavior but also a valuable opportunity for students to learn about sportsmanship and appropriate conduct in public settings.
The lesson of the day, according to staff, was that there is a time and place for βhoopinβ and hollerin,ββ and BELA students proudly showed they knew the difference.
