π Cajun Santa Spreads Holiday Cheer in Fifth Ward! π
The Fifth Ward Volunteer Fire Department brought holiday joy to the community on Saturday, Dec. 13, as Cajun Santa made his annual visit throughout the district.
Departing from the Fifth Ward Volunteer Fire Department station at 9:30 a.m., firefighters escorted Santa along his usual route, inviting residents to listen for the sound of sirens announcing his arrival.
Riding through the community in a fishing boat, Cajun Santa delighted children and families by passing out toys and sharing Christmas cheer. The annual tradition continues to be a highlight of the Christmas season, drawing smiles from residents young and old.
The Fifth Ward Fire Department and its Board of Directors thanked the community for its continued support and extended wishes for a safe, joyful Christmas, noting the department has proudly served the area since 1982.
