Celebrating Excellence at Avoyelles Parish 4-H Achievement Day!

The next generation of leaders, creators, and problem-solvers took center stage as Avoyelles Parish 4-H hosted its annual Achievement Day on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at LaSAS in Bay Hills.

4-H clubs from across the parish gathered for a full day of competition, education, and fun, showcasing the hard work and diverse talents of local students. Participants competed in a wide range of categories, including skill-a-thons, photography, horticulture, public speaking, consumer decision making, and more, along with a talent show and quiz bowl.

Achievement Day continues to reflect the core mission of 4-H—developing life skills, leadership, and confidence, while giving students the opportunity to learn, compete, and grow in a supportive environment. Winners were recognized across multiple divisions.
