“In 2025, Cleco supported more than 600 organizations across Louisiana through corporate donations,” said Colie Plaster, communications representative for Cleco. “Our employees also volunteered more than 5,000 hours last year, and we are looking for additional opportunities to serve communities in 2026.”

Cleco accepts donation and volunteer requests from Louisiana organizations whose work supports one or more of the company’s giving priorities, including:

  • STEM programs
  • Education
  • Youth initiatives

In addition to financial support, Cleco offers hands-on volunteer assistance throughout its service area. Organizations seeking volunteer help may submit requests through the online portal or by emailing news@cleco.com.
