Cook Some Rice: 🍤 Delicious Lenten Shrimp Sauté Recipe!

Lenten Recipe: Shrimp Sauté

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Seasoned salt, to taste
  • 2 cans mushrooms or 1 lb fresh mushrooms
  • 1 package vermicelli pasta
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 3–4 dashes Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  • Melt 1 stick of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • SautĂ© the onions and garlic until fragrant and translucent.
  • If using fresh mushrooms, add them before the onions finish sautĂ©ing.
  • Add mushrooms (if using canned), lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, and shrimp.
  • SautĂ© slowly, tossing gently, until shrimp turn pink.
  • Add the second stick of butter and cook until fully melted and incorporated.
  • Cook vermicelli pasta separately according to package directions.
  • Serve shrimp sautĂ© over pasta and enjoy.
