Cottonport Bank Hosts “Burgers 4 Badges” to Honor Local Heroes

MARKSVILLE, LA — It was all smiles, sizzle, and service on Friday, October 10th, as Cottonport Bank fired up the grill for its annual Burgers 4 Badges event — a fun and flavorful way to say thank you to those who keep our communities safe.

From 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, first responders across Avoyelles and Pointe Coupee Parishes — including law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, DAs, judges, and more — were invited to enjoy a free burger, chips, drinks, and a commemorative t-shirt at the bank’s branches in Marksville, Mansura, and New Roads.

But this wasn’t just about food — it was about community. Attendees connected over good eats, great conversations, and even walked away with some exciting prizes. The event buzzed with gratitude, laughter, and hometown pride.
