DA BOOT Cuts & Styles in Mansura is already working to make a difference beyond the barber chair

The barbershop, located at 160 Golden Rod Road, opened Jan. 8, and
recently hosted a food drive to help local families and individuals in need.
The event was held Sunday, May 17, and provided hot meals to residents.
The outreach brought together barbers, supporters and local partners
with one shared goal: serving the community. Plates of food were prepared
and distributed with care, offering not only a meal, but also encouragement
and support. “At DA BOOT Cuts & Styles, we believe in giving back and being there
for our community in every way possible,” the team said. “This is just the
beginning of what we plan to do.”
The barbershop extended special thanks to Cottonport Bank and sup- porters Rickie Brown, Darnell, Frank and Blanche Toussin for helping
make the food drive a success.
DA BOOT Cuts & Styles offers haircuts, hair styles, braiding, eyelash and eyebrow arch services, dreads and wig installation. Walk-ins are ac-
cepted Monday through Saturday.

Business hours are Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.,
Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5
p.m. The shop is closed on Sunday.
