Cochon de Lait Queens Pageant Returns π
The Mansura Chamber of Commerce has announced the return of the Cochon de Lait Festival Queens Pageant, one of the most cherished traditions of the Cochon de Lait Festival. The pageant will take place on Saturday, Nov. 22 starting at 8 a.m., marking the eventβs first return in several years.
Mansura, recognized as the Cochon de Lait Capital, will once again celebrate local pride and festival spirit through the pageant, which features divisions for contestants of all ages from infants to adults.
Age Divisions:
- Infants (up to 7 months)
- Baby Miss (8β14 months)
- Toddler Miss (15β23 months)
- Tiny Miss (2β3 years)
- Petite Miss (4β5 years)
- Little Miss (6β8 years)
- Deb Miss (9β10 years)
- Junior Miss (11β13 years)
- Teen Miss (14β16 years)
- Miss Cochon de Lait (17β23 years)
- Ms. (24 and up)
Contestants from Infant to Little Miss will compete in Sundayβs Best attire, with natural makeup and age-appropriate presentation. Contestants from Deb Miss through Miss Cochon de Lait will compete in the Evening Gown Competition, with Teen and Miss divisions also participating in interviews, onstage introductions, and onstage questions.
Entry fees are $55 per contestant or $75 for Miss Cochon de Lait. An additional $5 will be added for door entries and no refunds will be issued.
A contestant guide will be provided to registered participants.
