Bunkie Christmas Open House
The City of Bunkie will hold its annual Christmas Open House on Thursday,
Nov. 20 from 5 to 8 p.m.
Downtown businesses will open their doors for an evening of shopping,
refreshments and festive fun. Visitors can stroll by decorated storefronts,
enjoy holiday treats and find special sales while supporting local merchants.

This community tradition marks the official start of the Christmas
season in Bunkie, so come out, shop local, and celebrate the magic of
Christmas close to home.

Nov. 22: Marksville

19th Annual Christmas Extravaganza
The Marksville Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the 19th Annual
Christmas Extravaganza, set for Saturday, Nov. 22, beginning at 8 a.m.
at the Paragon Casino Resort in Marksville.

The holiday shopping tradition draws thousands of visitors each year and
features local artisans, vendors, crafts, food and festive fun. Attendees
can look forward to a day filled with holiday cheer, live music and unique
gift ideas from across the region.

Come shop, eat, and celebrate as the Christmas season officially begins in
Avoyelles Parish.

Nov. 29: Hessmer

4th Annual Holiday Market
The Village of Hessmer will hold its 4th Annual Holiday Market on
Saturday, Nov. 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hessmer Gym, 4153 E. School St.

The festive community event will feature local vendors, food, crafts, gifts
and holiday portraits, offering something for every age and interest.

Shoppers are encouraged to come out and enjoy a full day of Christmas cheer
and small-town holiday fun with free admission for everyone.
Event organizer Julia Shire reminds vendors to be cautious of online scams
and notes that she is the only authorized person collecting vendor forms
and fees.
