Four Young Parishioners Confirmed in Faith at St. Francis de Sales!
A meaningful celebration of faith and community took place on April 18, as four young parishioners received the Sacrament of Confirmation during Mass at St. Francis de Sales Church in Echo.
The Mass, celebrated for the Third Sunday of Easter, was led by Bishop Robert Marshall Jr., with Father Dwight DeJesus assisting.
The ceremony marked an important milestone in the spiritual lives of the confirmandi, as they affirmed their faith and received the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Confirmation represents a significant step in the Catholic faith, strengthening individuals to live out their beliefs and serve others with purpose and commitment.
Family members, sponsors, catechists, and parishioners gathered to support and celebrate the candidates on this special day. Church leaders expressed gratitude to all who played a role in preparing the students, noting that the occasion reflects both personal growth and the strength of the parish community.
“Confirmed in Christ, strengthened by the Spirit, and sent forth to serve,” the message of the day echoed, as the newly confirmed begin the next chapter of their faith journey.
