Belléann Boutique to celebrate grand opening

A new locally owned boutique is set to open its doors in Avoyelles Parish as Belléann Boutique invites the community to its grand opening on May 16.

Located at 7652 Highway 1 in Mansura, the event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with an official ribbon cutting scheduled for 11 a.m. Guests are invited to stop by, shop, and celebrate the opening of the new business.

Belléann Boutique will offer an abundant selection of women’s clothing and accessories, with each piece personally selected by owner Kara Chenevert to blend trendy and elegant styles. Chenevert said her goal is to help customers feel confident and comfortable expressing their personal style.

A 19-year-old Louisiana State University student pursuing a degree in pre-law, Chenevert said the boutique began as a small idea during her senior year of high school and has grown into a business she is proud to bring home to the community that supported her.

“Belléann Boutique is more than just a store to me,” Chenevert said. “It represents hard work, creativity, and my passion for helping others feel confident and beautiful in what they wear.”

She added that fashion has always been a meaningful form of self-expression for her and hopes others will find that same confidence through the boutique’s offerings.

Regular store hours will be: - Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. - Saturday: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Closed on Sundays.
