Join LDWF for a Public Zoom Meeting on Hunting Regulations

LDWF will host a public Zoom meeting to discuss proposed changes to the 2026–28 Hunting Regulation Notices of Intent (NOI):

DATE: Thursday, Feb. 26
TIME: 6:30 p.m.

The Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission adopted NOIs for the outlining proposed hunting seasons and regulations at its January meeting, including:

• 2026–27 & 2027–28 hunting seasons
• 2026–27 general & WMA seasons/rules & regs
• 2027 general & WMA turkey season/ rules & regs
• 2026–27 migratory bird seasons/rules & regs

The commission also adopted several amendments at its February meeting.

Public comment is open through 4 p.m. on March 6, 2026, and will also be accepted at LWFC monthly meetings through March 5.
