🎁 Join the Bunkie Rotary Club's 2025 Christmas Doll & Toy Drive! 🎄

The Bunkie Rotary Club has officially launched its 2025 Christmas Doll and Toy Drive, an annual project that has brought holiday joy to local families for more than 25 years.

The club is now accepting monetary and toy donations to help provide Christmas gifts, clothing, shoes, and food items for deserving families in the Bunkie area. Each family supported through the program receives toys and clothing for children, as well as a Christmas ham to share at their holiday meal.

Donation envelopes for this year’s drive will be included in this week’s edition of the Avoyelles Weekly in the Bunkie/Evergreen area only. Monetary contributions and toy drop-offs may be brought to the Cottonport Bank in Bunkie (122 SW Main St.) or mailed to the Bunkie Rotary Club, P.O. Box 213, Bunkie, LA 71322. Checks should be made payable to the Bunkie Rotary Club.

The Rotary Club expressed appreciation to all past donors and supporters who have helped make this community tradition a success year after year.

Donations may be made in honor of someone, in memory of a loved one, or given anonymously, and all contributions will be acknowledged in the Avoyelles Weekly. Club members encourage residents to give generously this season to help ensure that every child in the community experiences the joy of Christmas.
