Festival Design Contest now open

The 15th Annual Avoyelles Arts & Music Festival is officially seeking creative entries for its 2026 Poster and T-Shirt Design Contest as the community prepares to celebrate 250 Years of America.

Artists of all ages are invited to submit original designs that capture the spirit of Avoyelles and this historic milestone. Winning artwork will become the official festival poster and/or t-shirt design for the July 4, 2026 celebration in Marksville.

Each winning entry will receive a $100 prize, along with the honor of having their work featured as the face of one of the largest celebrations in Avoyelles Parish.

Deadline for submissions is March 30.

Designs may be submitted by email to Avoyellesarts@gmail.com or dropped off in person at the Avoyelles Arts Council gallery.
