Drive-Thru Christmas Parade 🎄

The Bayou Vista Nursing Home in Bunkie, located at 323 Evergreen Hwy., is preparing for its annual Drive-Thru Christmas Parade, scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 21.

Lineup will begin at 1 p.m., and the parade will start at 1:30 p.m. Community members are invited to participate and help bring holiday cheer to the residents.

Organizers shared that the event is grounded in the spirit of faith and community.

“Time is moving rapidly and every day is an opportunity to express God’s love and to also reciprocate it. So as a community let’s join together to make His love seen and known to the residents and all thats involved,” the announcement stated.

Participants are encouraged to: - Decorate their vehicles - Bring posters or signs - Share greetings or waves with residents along the route

The annual event aims to brighten the holiday season for those living at Bayou Vista and to show support from the surrounding community.
