Second Chance Job & Resource Fair Set for April 22 in Alexandria

United Way of Central Louisiana, through the Louisiana Prisoner Reentry Initiative (LaPRI), in partnership with the Louisiana Department of Corrections and the City of Alexandria, will host the 2026 Second Chance Job & Resource Fair on Wednesday, April 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bolton Community Center.

The free event is open to the public and aims to connect job seekers, including returning citizens, with employers and community resources.

Attendees are encouraged to bring résumés and be prepared to speak with potential employers.

Employers and organizations interested in participating may register by emailing Tony@uwcl.org. Job seekers do not need to register.
