Join Us for the Simmesport VFD BBQ Fundraiser on May 3! 🍗

The Simmesport Fire Department is preparing for its annual ½ BBQ Chicken fundraiser, set for Saturday, May 3.

The event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 460 Murphy Lacour in Simmesport.

Plates will be available for $13 and will include: - ½ chicken - rice dressing - green beans - baked beans - a roll

In addition to the meal, cakes and other sweet treats will also be available for purchase.

Organizers say tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased by contacting the department at (318) 941-2564 or through any Simmesport Fire Department member.
