LADY TIGERS HIT 19-5 MARK

The Marksville Lady Tigers continued their strong 2026 season, winning two of three matches and improving their overall record to 19-5. The Lady Tigers held the No. 5 spot in the Division IV power ratings as the regular season moved toward the postseason.

Marksville picked up wins over No. 10 Division V St. Mary's of Natchitoches and Division III Breaux Bridge. Their lone loss came against No. 5 Division I Benton, giving the team another opportunity to test itself against one of the state's top programs.

Junior standouts Kennedy McDaniel and Katie Lachney once again led the way for the Lady Tigers.

McDaniel put together another impressive three-match stretch, recording 33 kills, 27 digs and six blocks. Lachney made an impact in nearly every phase of the game, finishing the stretch with 22 kills, 25 digs and 12 aces.

The performances of the two juniors have been a major part of Marksville's success as the Lady Tigers continue navigating a challenging schedule designed to prepare them for the postseason.
