Louisiana Tech honors Avoyelles Parish students

Louisiana Tech University in Ruston has announced its Summer 2026 graduates as well as students named to the President’s and Dean’s Honor Lists for the Summer Quarter.

Several Avoyelles Parish students were among those earning degrees during commencement ceremonies held Aug. 15. From Bunkie, Lucy Kathleen Clement earned a Master of Business Administration, while Chloe Teresa Ducote earned a Bachelor of Science. Isabella A. Silva of Cottonport earned a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies, and Keteral J. Ducote of Marksville earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Informatics and Information Management.

Two students listed under Avoyelles Parish also received academic honors for the Summer Quarter. Abigail Ortego of Bunkie was named to the Dean’s Honor List, while Logan Johnson of Deville earned a place on the President’s Honor List.

Students named to the President’s Honor List earned at least a 3.8 grade point average on a minimum of nine semester hours with no grade lower than a B.

Students named to the Dean’s Honor List earned at least a 3.5 grade point average with no grade lower than a C on a minimum of nine semester hours.

Only undergraduate students with no incomplete grades are eligible for either honor list.
