Marksville FFA Students Rally for Simmesport Rescue!

Students in the Future Farmers of America (FFA) program at Marksville High School recently organized a donation drive to benefit Atchafalaya River Rescue, Inc., a nonprofit based in Simmesport.

The effort was led by student Jayden Moreau with the help of fellow FFA members. Students collected much-needed supplies for the rescue, showing teamwork and a strong commitment to their community.

Organizers said the donations come at a time when support is greatly needed and praised the students for their compassion and leadership. The project highlights the role local students play in giving back and supporting organizations across Avoyelles Parish.
