Tiger Pride will be on full display this October as Marksville High School celebrates Homecoming 2025 with a week full of events, spirit days, and the crowning of its homecoming court.


πŸŽ‰ Homecoming Week Schedule

The week of Oct. 21–24 will feature daily dress-up themes:

  • Tuesday – Twin Day: Students pair up with friends and dress alike.
  • Wednesday – Western Day: Boots, hats, and cowboy attire fill the halls.
  • Thursday – Throwback Day: Retro outfits from favorite decades encouraged.
  • Friday – Spirit Day: A sea of purple and gold to show Tiger Pride.

πŸ“… Key Homecoming Events

  • Oct. 23: Homecoming Parade – 5:30 p.m.
  • Oct. 24: Homecoming Game vs. Vidalia at Tiger Stadium
    • Homecoming Court will be announced starting at 6 p.m.
    • Winners will be announced during halftime.
  • Oct. 25: Homecoming Dance

πŸ’ƒ Homecoming Dance – β€œA Night to Remember”

The theme for this year’s dance is β€œA Night to Remember.”
The event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25 in the school gym.

  • Middle School Dance: 6–8 p.m.
  • High School Dance: 8:30–10:30 p.m.
  • Tickets: $20 each and must be purchased in advance from Mrs. Holly (MHS teacher) during lunch recess at the back door.

All school fees must be paid before tickets can be purchased.
Guests are welcome at the high school dance only and must submit a completed guest form by Wednesday, Oct. 22.
The dress code is formal attire only β€” absolutely no jeans.

Junior Maids: Kamyriah Day, Destiny Lachney, Ja’Kira Lyons, Anneshia Reed, and Rylee Williams
Senior Maids: Alaysia Benjamin, Ziya Thomas, and Zion Williams

With a full slate of activities, Marksville High is ready to celebrate its students, alumni, and community spirit.
From themed dress-up days to the traditional parade, football game, and dance, Tigers young and old are invited to join in and make this year’s homecoming truly unforgettable.
