🎉 Miss Avoyelles Arts and Music Festival Pageant Coming Soon! 👑

The Avoyelles Arts Council, in collaboration with the Avoyelles Arts and Music Festival, will host the Miss Avoyelles Arts and Music Festival Pageant on Sunday, Jan. 11, at Paragon Casino Resort in Marksville. The event serves as an official preliminary to Miss Louisiana and Miss Louisiana’s Teen, offering contestants the opportunity to advance to state-level competition.

The pageant is open to contestants from across Louisiana and will feature two divisions:

• Miss Louisiana’s Teen division: open to young women ages 14 to 17
• Miss Avoyelles Arts and Music Festival division: open to contestants ages 18 to 27

Winners in each category will earn the right to represent the Avoyelles Arts and Music Festival at the Miss Louisiana and Miss Louisiana’s Teen competitions.

Organizers said the pageant will award more than $3,000 in scholarships, supporting participants’ educational goals while promoting leadership, service, and personal achievement.

In addition to scholarship opportunities, contestants gain experience in interview, stage presence, and community representation.

The pageant reflects the continued partnership between the Arts Council of Avoyelles and the Avoyelles Arts and Music Festival in promoting arts, culture, and opportunities for young women throughout the state.

The event will be held at Paragon Casino Resort, Sunday Jan. 11, at 3 p.m., and is expected to draw participants and spectators from across Central Louisiana.
