All cleared. Courthouse and streets now open
Original story;
A bomb threat was called in to authorities shortly before 6:30 a.m. today (June 8). State Police, Avoyelles Parish Sheriff's Office and Marksville City Police personnel are currently searching the building.
APSO Criminal Investigation Unit commander Tim Ryan said the courthouse will remain empty until the search has been concluded and it is deemed safe to resume courthouse activities.
