Avoyelles Mustangs fall in quarterfinal to Rayville Hornets, 71-69

Basketball season in Avoyelles Parish came to an end tonight in Rayville where the Hornets beat the Avoyelles Mustangs, 71-69. Rayville was ranked No. 3 in the Class 2A playoffs while Avoyelles was No. 11. The Hornets will play No. 2 Port Allen in the semifinals on March 10 in Burton Coliseum in Lake Charles.
