Brianna Descant, the pastor's granddaughter

Brianna Descant is one of the five Marksville bible class students who lost their lives in the Church Van accident on the way to Disney World in Florida.

10 years old.

Her grandfather is the Pastor of the church and her grandmother, the pastor's wife, was also in the van and suffered a number of broken ribs and cuts. Her grandfather was not on the group trip but quickly went to Gainesville after the accident to be with family and surviving parishioners.

Family members quoted by Kevin V. Cox, the Pentecostal church's Louisiana district superintendent:
"They said her favorite colors were pink and purple"

Jacksonville TV Station in Florida added:
"We are family. Family sticks together for things like this and we look out for each other," Rebecca Tellier, Brieanna's cousin, told News4Jax by phone.
