Parish burn ban lifted

The following announcement on the burn ban being lifted has been made by Joseph M Frank Avoyelles Parish Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness Director :
Due to some rains, we have received and request from the majority of Fire Chiefs, Avoyelles Parish has made a decision to opt out of the State Burn Ban and lift the burn ban for Avoyelles Parish. The Burn Ban being lifted will become effective at 15:00 Hrs. on November 13,2023
