Registration currently underway for ‘Beauty and the Beast, Jr.’ Fox Theatre summer children’s program

Registration for the Fox Performing Arts Center summer children’s program is underway.
This year’s production will be “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Jr.” directed by Kody Walker.
The production is open to any child age 8-14. Must be 8-years old by May 27.
Performances will be June 20-23 at the Fox Theater in Marksville.
Deadline to register with payment is May 19 and enrollment is limited.
Cost is $250 for the first child, $225 for the second and third for the same family.
Due date for late registration is May 28 at a cost of $275 if spots are still available.
Each actor must provide his or her own costume for the production.
Each parent must assist backstage in an area such as door monitor, dressing room chaperone, backstage monitoring, stage crew, etc.
Rehearsals will start promptly at 9 a.m. and will end by 12 p.m. All children must be picked up by 12:05 p.m.
Regular attendance of all participants is necessary to put on the production. Note that absences for any reason may affect the director’s casting decisions.
Parents must attend the informational meeting on Sunday, May 19 at 3 p.m. at the Fox to be given scripts and music for each child.
