Shane Mitchell, 42, Evergreen native

Funeral services for Shane William Mitchell will be Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie with Rev. Bobby Cazelot officiating. Burial with Motorcycle Escort will follow in the Ferguson Cemetery in Chicot under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.
The family requests that visitation be observed at Melancon Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 23, 201 from 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. and resume on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Mitchell, age 42, of Shreveport, formerly of Evergreen, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. He was employed at C.G. Logan Construction Company, was a member of the Gray Ghost Motorcycle Club and was a Martial Arts instructor. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Helen Ducote and Aubrey and Clara Mitchell.
He is survived by his two sons, Aubrey Joseph "A.J." Mitchell (Sara Bordelon) of Evergreen and Joshua Mitchell of Shreveport and Evergreen and his parents, Dale and Patsy Ducote Mitchell of Evergreen.
