Adrian J. Cadoria, Marksville native

Adrian J. Cadoria, born on September 23, 1937 in Marksville, La, departed this life to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 30, 2022 at Beth Sholom Nursing Home in Va Beach, VA. His mother, Bernice McGlory Cadoria, his father, Cameron J. Cadoria and sister, Adele C. King predeceased him. Adrian was baptized at Holy Ghost Catholic Church and attended Holy Ghost Catholic School. After graduating from high school, Adrian enlisted in the Navy and served 20 years as an aircraft mechanic. He served during the Korean conflict and Vietnam War. After retiring from the military, Adrian went to work for Grumman Aerospace as a Field engineer and F-14 specialist. After 25 years of service, he retired for the second time. In his retirement, he had a love for working on cars with his good buddies and restored more than 15 automobiles! Adrian is survived by his wife, Gladys L. (Parker) Cadoria of 60 years, his daughter, Charlotte Cadoria of Marksville, LA, his sister Sherian G. Cadoria, Marksville, La and a host of cousins and friends. Adrian was a past member of Prince Hall Masons, Lodge #69, 32nd degree.

There will be a visitation from 1-3pm, Sunday, November 6, 2022, Woodlawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11am, Monday, November 7, 2022 at New Hope Baptist Church in Virginia Beach. Immediately following the funeral services will be the burial at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family invites friends and family for a repass at New Hope Baptist Church following the interment.
