Marksville – Memorial services for Alcide Landry “Erby” Normand, Jr. will be held in the chapel of Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Marksville on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 7 p.m. with Deacon Gary Schupbach, officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date under the direction of Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Marksville.
The Normand Family has requested a visitation to be held at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Alcide Landry “Erby” Normand, Jr., age 60 of Marksville passed away in Bayou Pigeon. On Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 6:20 p.m. Erby passed away while fishing on the Atchafalaya River as he had done so, for over 45 years. He was a loving man who always worked hard providing for his family and will be sadly missed.
Mr. Normand was preceded in death by his parents, Alcide, Sr. and Joyce Bernard Normand; and his brother, Kenneth Normand.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Megan (Nicholas James) Normand of Marksville, Joscelyn (Jason) Ebey of Center Point, Jason (Brittany Cliff) Walker of Marksville; siblings, Darren Normand of Marksville, Susan (Brent Manuel) Gauthier of Church Point; Godson, Jerome Barbin; and grandchildren, Myha Keno, Austin Keno, Raven Walker, Jaxon Ebey and Justin Ebey.
