Audrey Walker, 86, Marksville

Funeral services for Ms. Audrey Dupuy Walker will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 9th, 2023 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville with Father Dan O’Connor officiating. Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery #2. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Ms. Walker, age 86, of Marksville, LA., passed away on Friday, January 6th, 2023 at Valley View Healthcare Facility Hospice in Marksville.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Walker; son, Glenn Walker; parents, Xavier L. Dupuy and Florestine Dupuy Dauzat; sisters, Susie Juneau, and Helen Peart.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ronald Walker (Dorinda) of Pineville, and Edward Walker (Rachal) of Deville; Daughter, Rachel Gaspard of Mansura; sister, Carol Dauzat. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be observed at the funeral home in Marksville on Monday, January 9th, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services in the chapel. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 10:00 a.m.
