RUBY - Funeral services celebrating the life of Austin Williford, will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, May 3, 2018, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Pineville, with Reverend Ken Gilmore and Reverend Herb Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow in Wise Chapel Cemetery, Ruby.
Visitation will be observed at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
Austin Williford, 18, of Deville, passed from this life on Sunday, April 29, 2018. Born on September 13, 1999, Austin attended Buckeye High School where he was one among the graduating class of 2018. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Louisiana National Guard. He was greatly loved by his family and friends and will be forever missed but never forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Martin Villemarette and Bennie Leon Murrell; and uncle, Patrick DeWayne Murrell.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Cynthia D. Murrell (Eric) Woodruff; father, Aaron (Mona) Williford; brothers, Kyle Williford, Taylor Willis, Derek Chesne, Ryan Woodruff and Cohen Woodruff; paternal grandparents, Gary (Sandra) Williford, Lorena Villemarette, and Rita Ryan; maternal grandparents, Mary Murrell, Ronald Woodruff and Debbie Woodruff; great-grandmother, Reba Montz; paternal aunts, Cassie Crawford, Shirla Williford, Terry Armand, Charla Logan, Ashley Brouillette and Vicky Villemarette, paternal uncles, Elvis (Amanda) Defreese, Jimmy Crawford, Dale Villemarette, Lynn Williford, Ricky Armand, Blaine Brouillette and Bill Logan; maternal aunts, Jennifer Davis, Crystal Murrell, Jennifer Smith and Tye Roberts; maternal uncles, Lance (Gayle) Murrell, Lyle Murrell, Kevin (Heather) Rachal and Wayne Smith; special cousin, Siera Murrell; special friend, Madison Carter; and a host of other family members and friends.
