Benny Dauzat, 52, Vick

Graveside services for Mr. Benny Ray Dauzat will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Vick Baptist Cemetery in Vick, LA with Reverend Grady Dodge officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville.
Mr. Dauzat, age 52, of Vick passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Dauzat and Lena Dauzat Camp; son, Billy Dauzat and grandson, Skylar Dauzat.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Theresa Lachney Dauzat of Vick; one son, Taylor Dauzat of Vick; one daughter, Courtney Clark (Jonathan) of Vick; one brother, Gerald Dauzat (Kathy) of Winnfield; one sister, Lee Ellen Laborde (Lonnie) of Vick; three grandchildren, Summer Lachney, Samantha Lachney and Luke Clark.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Jonathan Clark, William Paulk, Richard Gunn, Jeremy Strange, Ernest Lachney, and Rodney Dodge.
