Bertha Dupuy Bordelon, 85, Marksville

Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Dupuy Bordelon will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers with Father Abraham Palakkattuchira officiating. Interment will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery # 2 in Marksville, LA. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville, LA.

Mrs. Bordelon, age 85, of Marksville, LA. passed on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Riviere de Soleil Community Care Center in Mansura, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Celestin Bordelon, Jr.; parents, Louis, Sr. and Annette Dauzat Dupuy; brothers, Louis Dupuy, Jr., Robert Dupuy, Lester Dupuy, Belton Dupuy, Cilton Dupuy and Tyson Dupuy; sisters, Rita Mayeaux, Della Dupuy and Doris Bernard.

Mrs. Bertha, served many years as a Pharmacy Tech for Larborde’s, Don’s and Mark’s Pharmacies.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two sisters, Beryline Bordelon of Mansura and Oline Guillory of Echo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and reopen on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. until time of services in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.
