Beverly Ann Nichols Bonnette, 86, Pineville

Beverly Ann Nichols Bonnette, 86 of Pineville, passed from this life on Sunday January 14, 2024 at The Oaks Nursing Care facility in Pineville, Louisiana.

She was very well-loved by her family and friends. Throughout her life she was a stay-at-home mama while daddy worked to provide a comfortable life for us. In her later years she enjoyed playing Pokeno. She belonged to three separate groups of ladies from which wonderful friendships were formed. She was Baptist by faith.

Mrs. Bonnette was preceded in death by her husband Neilson "N.J." Bonnette and by her parents Harvey and Ruby Morgan Nichols. Also by her fur-babies Pinky Lee and Baby Cat; grand fur-babies Trigger, Heffa "Baby Girl" and Bailey.

She is survived by her children Timothy Bonnette (Rose), Patti Driggers (Chuck Couvillion) of Alexandria, Johnny Bonnette of Pineville, Cheryl Barrett (Dennis) of Pineville, and Lisha Barrett (Kerry); Grandchildren Jon Driggers, Michael Driggers, John Adam Edwards (Vanessa), Lacey Bonnette, Justin Barrett (Anna), Kacey Barrett and Kelcey Harrell (Chris); great grandchildren Shawn, Dylan, Shaely (Gage Nugent) Saint, Connor, Landon, Addyson, Barrett, Caylee, Kayden, and Kolson; Great-great grandchildren Paisley, Everley and Salem (Due in April). Beverly is also survived by a sister Marie Nichols Ponthieux (Carlton) of Belledeau.

Before their respective deaths daddy and mama requested, they be buried near their own parents. Daddy is in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Moncla, LA and Mama in Campbell Cemetery Center Point, LA.

Pallbearers will be Justin Barrett, Kerry Barrett, Landon George, Chris Harrell, Chuck Couvillion, and Timothy Bonnette.

Memorials can be made to the American Kidney Fund, American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, Shriners Hospital Shreveport, St. Jude's and ASPCA. All of which Mr. and Mrs. Bonnette contributed to each month for many years.

Visitation will be Wednesday January 17, 2024 11am- 1pm at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home Pineville, LA. Services will be at 1pm with Reverend Stuart Sasser officiating. Burial will follow in Campbell Cemetery.

Her family wants to say a special thank you to Kaitlyn of Cabrini Hospice, Raven, Jonnesha, Jordan, and Taiwan "baby" of whom mama especially adored, all of The Oaks.
