Billy Joe Lachney, 59, Brouillette native

Due to COVID, Memorial services for Mr. Billy Joe Lachney will be held at a later date.
Entombment will be held at St. Genevieve Cemetery #1. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mr. Lachney, age 59 of Baton Rouge, formerly of Brouillette, passed away in Baton Rouge, LA. on Thursday, January 13, 2022.
Mr. Lachney is preceded in death by his parents, Hazel and Herman Lachney; brother, Freddie Lachney; niece, Tara Sherman; nephews, Easton Maxwell and Michael Sherman.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Michael Lachney (Sylvia) of Effie, LA., Gerald Lachney (Charlene) of Marksville, LA. and Bruce Lachney of Marksville, LA. Billy Joe also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
