Bobbie Eggins, 85, Bunkie

Funeral services for Bobbie Jean Eggins will be Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Second Edgefield Baptist Church in Cheneyville with Pastor Cedric Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Second Edgefield Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.
The family request that visitation be observed at the Second Edgefield Baptist Church on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
Ms. Eggins, age 85, of Bunkie, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leathon, Sr. and Georgia Jones Eggins; her two daughters, Margie Bonton and Linda Johnson; her brothers, Donald Leary and Joseph Leary and her grandson, Dantorious Young.
She is survived by her two daughters, Connie Young-Frank of Alexandria and Jean Johnson and husband, John, of Bunkie; her four sons, Gary Young and Tony Young of Dallas, TX, Darren Young of Baton Rouge and Kevin Young of Cheneyville; her brother, Charles Eggins of Cheneyville; thirty-five grandchildren and fifty-eight grat grandchildren.
Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Desmond Robinson, Lamar Roberson, Gary Allen, Jerrian Robinson, Jamaur Roberson and Ladarrian Young. Honorary Pallbearers are Gary Young, Kevin Young, Tony Young, Darren Young, Charles Eggins and Ernest Ross.
