Funeral Mass for Buster Rico of of Moreauville will begin at 10:00am on Monday, April 5, 2021 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moreauville. Burial will follow at the Rico Cemetery in Moreauville.

Buster Rico, age 73, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at his home in Moreauville surrounded by loved ones.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Tuwanna Rico of Moreauville; 3 sons, Donnie Rico of Moreauville, Jason (Kelsey) Rico of Plaucheville, and Donovan Rico of Marksville; step-daughters, Charlotte Lachney of Marksville, Christy (Bryan) Bordelon of Marksville, and Deidra (Brian) Hattaway of Fifthward; step-son, Chris (Angela) Lachney, Jr. of Fifthward ; 3 brothers, Ruddie (Charlene) Rico of Bunkie, Irby (Brenda) Rico, Jr. of Cypress, TX, Leon (Maxine) Rico of Moreauville; special friend, Aline Laborde of Bordelonville. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Danny Rico; parents, Irby Rico, Sr., & Theresa Desselles Rico; brother, Burt Rico.

A visitation will begin at 5:00pm on Sunday, April 4, 2021 and will continue until time of service at the Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville. A rosary prayer service will begin at 7:00pm on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at the Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville.
