Catina Shuler Hayward, 49, Marksville

Funeral services for Mrs. Catina Shuler Hayward will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 8th, 2022 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville, LA. with Rev. Charlie Gilmore officiating. Burial will be held at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Marksville. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mrs. Catina Shuler Hayward, age 49, of Marksville, LA. passed away on Wednesday, March 30th, 2022.
Catina was born on March 16, 1973 to Carol Ann Shuler. She received Christ at an early age being christened at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. She later converted and was baptized at Congregational First Baptist Church by Reverend Michael Gonzales.
Catina is preceded in death by her mother, Carrol Ann Shuler, grandmother, Mary Lee Shuler, grandfather, George Shuler, son, Zarreon Boyer, and uncle, Edward Charles Conway.
She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories one daughter, Ma’Leea Gilmore of Evergreen, two grand-children, Xirreon Gilmore and Tralyn Gilmore of Evergreen, one aunt Janet Jones of Texas, one great aunt Genie Greenhouse of Marksville, godparents Leon Anderson of Marksville & Florence Jackson of Alexandria, and a host of godchildren, family and friends.
Visitation will be held in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home on Friday, April 8th, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
