Celestin ‘Boom” Bordelon, Jr., 88, of Marksville

Funeral services for Mr. Celestin “Boom” Bordelon, Jr. will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 6th, 2021 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers in Marksville, LA. with Fr. Dan O’Connor officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph #2 Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville, LA.
Mr. Celestin ‘Boom” Bordelon, Jr., 88, of Marksville, LA. passed from this life on Thursday, October 28th, 2021 at Riviere de Soleil Community Care Center in Mansura, LA.
Mr. Bordelon is preceded in death by his parents, Celestin Sr. and Annie Lachney Bordelon; brothers, Archie Bordelon, Jason Robert Bordelon, C.J. Bordelon, Dudley Bordelon; sisters, Rita Smith, Ela Littleton, and Dorothy Descant.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 65 years, Bertha Dupuy Bordelon; sisters, Audrey (James) Gaspard of Marksville, LA. and Mary (Lanuel) Guillot of Metairie, LA.
He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 6th, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville, LA.
