Corine Slaughter, Mansura

Graveside service for Corine Francisco Slaughter of Mansura will begin at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at St. Paul the Apostle Cemetery in Mansura with Fr. Irion St. Romain officiating.

Corine F. Slaughter, age 91, passed away and received her heavenly wings on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Riviere de Soleil Community Care Center in Mansura. She was born on August 5, 1929 in Hessmer, LA to Clovis & Adeline Francisco. She was baptized on September 14, 1929. She was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Mansura.

Her memory will always be cherished by her grandsons: Malcolm Senviel, Jr. (Kai) of Douglasville, GA and Matthew Jones of Boyce, LA; great-grandchildren: London Senviel and Mariah Senviel of Douglasville, GA; niece, Anita Wilson (Clyde) of Alexandria; nephews: Robert King, Jr. (Trina) of Alexandria, LA; Ronald King (Louise) and Joseph King of Corinth, MS; and John King (Angela) of Elton, LA; and a host of cousins and relatives.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers: Malcolm Senviel, Jr., Matthew Jones, Robert King, Jr., John King, Ronnie Day, Jr., Donald Guillory, Wayne Senviel, and Michael Jones. Honorary pallbearers: Ronald King, Joseph King, Robert King, Sr., and Kelly Jones.

Those who preceded her in death are her beloved daughter, and only child, Gayle Jones of Alexandria, LA; her parents, Clovis & Adeline Francisco; her special friend for many years, Cleveland Murray.

Visitation will begin at 8:00am until 9:45am on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura.
