Dane McNeal, 62, Opelousas

Memorial services for Mr. Dane Paul McNeal will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville with Father Dan O’Connor officiating. Entombment will be held at St. Joseph Mausoleum # 2. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mr. McNeal, age 62, of Opelousas, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Eldie Dauzat McNeal; one brother, Michael McNeal; and one granddaughter, Kimberly Rood.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Dana McNeal of Cheneyville; sisters, Sandra Tassin (Kenneth) of Cottonport, Deborah McNeal of Marksville and Linda Voinche (Mark) of Mansura; two grandchildren, Amber Davis (David) and Alexis Rood; one great grandchild, Abel Davis.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville.
