Danny Kitchen, 80, Effie

Funeral services for Mr. Danny Ross Kitchen will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. at Vick Baptist Church with Mr. David Robbins officiating. Interment will be held in the Vick Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville.

Mr. Kitchen, age 80, of Effie, LA., passed away peacefully in his home with his family around him on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Eugene and Regina Pruitt Kitchen; brother, William Brent Kitchen; sister, Judy Kitchen.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Vicki Clark Kitchen; daughters, Annette Luneau (Kerry) of Center Point and Kimberly Nugent (Craig) of Effie; sister, Carol Robbins (Gary) of Benton, AR.; grandchildren, Kaycie Skursky (Devin) of Center Point, Kirstyn Crocker (Kacey) of Effie, Kay Luneau of Center Point; great grandchild, Kodah Crocker of Effie. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Vick Baptist Church.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Kerry Luneau, Craig Nugent, Koy Luneau, Devin Skursky, Kacey Crocker, Scott Williams, Ryan Robbins, and Matthew Robbins. Honorary pallbearers to serve will be Gary Robbins, Leroy Thompson, Steve Hargis, Larry Sayes, Alan Williams.
