David Wayne Cook, Sr.
MARKSVILLE - Funeral services for Mr. David Wayne Cook, Sr. will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 26, 2018 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville with Brother Keith Lamartiniere officiating. Interment will be at Cushman Cemetery in Marksville.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2018 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. and will resume on Monday at 8 a.m. until service.
Mr. Cook, age 63, of Marksville, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Martin Cook of Mississippi and Vergie Virginia Chapman of Arkansas; numerous brothers and sisters.
 Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 45 years, Shirley Normand Cook of Marksville; three children, David Wayne (Deidre) Cook of Marksville, Jamie Jo Cook (Chris) Milligan of Marksville and Leann Marie Cook of Marksville; two brothers, Jimmy Cook of Osceola, Arkansas and John James Cook of Osceola, Arkansas; two sisters, Jo Marie Wastson of South Carolina and Cheryl Shepardson of Luxora, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Kayla Daigrepont, Kaitlyn Milligan, Christopher Milligan, David Cook, Cameron Cook, Brandon Cook, and Alyssia Bardwell; and one great grandson, Colton Daigrepont.
